New changes at Empire Avenue + my stock is going great

So Empire Avenue changed the way it pays out dividends recently and this has given me a good amount of money from my good old stocks. What does that mean to my stock? Well, basically those that invest in me will get good dividends too, you don't have to go looking for those risky new comers, you get good dividends from my stock too. More importantly, I tend to increase my stock price too on a daily basis, so you know you have invested in some safe stock which will guarantee a profit.

But make sure you follow me for announcements just to keep you updated.

Till I write another blogpost, adios and keep those stocks rolling.

A way to make some wealth while saving the trusted investors

For those that have been following my stocks in the last 2 weeks since I joined Empire Avenue, you will realise that I wanted my investors to sell my stocks. This was when my stock was at 33ish. Come Friday night, it has dropped to 22!!

This was my twitter message when I wanted investors to sell my stock
http://twitter.com/gihangamos/status/17407116582

To most of my close investors, it came as a big surprise and some even wondered whether I had enough of EA. But no, I had assured them that I would be back by the weekend where they can repurchase at a lower price.

Why? You must be wondering why go from being ranked 11th overall to going down to the low 60s! Well, there are a number of reasons and I believe you would use the same tactic in time on EA to make things interesting.

Firstly, I had a lot of work to do in office (it isn't easy running and planning a game company and a publishing house you know) so I had to take my eye off EA completely (though I couldn't but help login about 3 or 4 times just to see how fast my stock was dropping :) ).

Secondly, my stock was expensive, getting 1 or 2 points increase in a day is not something that new investors want. They are greedy and why shouldn't they be. You want to see my stock climb at least 3-7 points like it had been when I was in the 10s and 20s.

Thirdly, my stock was running out, I know, I can get my 3rd purchase and increase my stocks further to 17,500 but thats going to really kill me when I don't have money coming in since very few were investing in my stocks which were around 35-36!

So my reason to anchor my stock for a few days to make sure it drops to a reasonable amount before I join back into Empire Avenue and hustle some investors into making deals. :)

So there you have it. Please also note that I gave personal messages to my most loyal investors to sell as soon as the stock was in the high and I believe most made profits from my shares. I believe that is key thing to do since that shows that my actions come with responsibility.

So the weekend is here and that gives me a bit of time to be on EA and to get my stock going up again. So go ahead, dive in and come ride my wave of success as e(GTS) reaches for the 30s and this time see if we can get into the 40s :)

Have fun.

What not to do in Empire Avenue

So close to 2 weeks into Empire Avenue and my stock e(GTS) is now above 30.
It's good to keep rising. Been doing lots of things to make sure my stock goes to 50 and its good to see that stock is rising on a daily basis.

So the topic of this blog says 'Empire Avenue Tips' and you must be wondering when I would give some tips to better trade on EA.

Well, here is one tip and its something that you should be vary on Empire Avenue.

Just today, there was an ex-investor of mine who was selling all but 1 stock of his big investors. Was he doing it to gain 30,000 to upgrade to 12,500 cause his stock was running out? No. He was purely doing it so that he could invest in new investors. He also had an ad saying that if anyone follows him on twitter he would buy 50. It's all good that he bought 50 shares but when he sells them very quickly, it seems a bit unethical knowing that it would affect the stock price of his loyal investor.

This doesn't mean that you shouldn't sell but you have to be decent about it. Look after your investors side too if you can, then only can you successfully survive on EA.

I think a perfect example would be e(RZR) aka William Pitcher. He wanted to sell some stock when he needed an upgrade. He even sold 50 of my stock to do so but he was decent enough to put a message saying how he would buy back as soon as he gets money. And he kept his promise and bought back the 50 he sold. He only sold when he had to upgrade and not purely to use that money for new investment. That is where ethics comes into this game. He keeps in touch with the investors and that is a key to his massive success on EA.

So remember to invest wisely and to keep in touch with your investors. It not only makes them keep your stock, but EA rewards you as well for interactions inside the EA platform. So the more you interact with the people inside EA, the more eaves you get and that results in a rise in your stock price too.

So be careful when selling stocks and invest wisely.

p.s- This is only my point of view, and its a game. You might see a different view in playing this game. But as William Pitcher puts it, its more than just a game.
Its a social interaction. So increase your wealth, increase your stock price, but try to play it straight.

So if you think this tip has made a difference to your trading style at EA, then do drop me a shout out at e(GTS). Feel free to invest in my rising stocks as well.

Until I drop in with another tip on Empire Avenue, have fun.

Got sold out at Empire Avenue

So 10 days into Empire Avenue and my 10,000 stocks gets sold out. The lucky investors who got the last remaining shares were Joanne Costello and Rachel D.

When I sold out Brent Knowles's stock, Brent rewarded me with an AD where my stock gets promoted.

Now I have also payed it forward by putting an AD promoting Joanne's and Rachel's stocks. So invest in some of those stocks cause they are pretty much active on Empire. (Do keep track of the stocks from time to time nevertheless).

I will write a detailed post with tips to increase your wealth and stock price on Empire Avenue.
If you are not following me on Empire yet, my stock is e(GTS).

Also glad to say that I am on the top 20 wealthiest people on Empire Avenue and ranked 12th in best stock price. (Rankings as of 25th June 2010)
